CONSTITUTION
A Breed Council’s powers are limited by its constitution which must be approved by The Kennel Club.
The Rough Collie Breed Council is a consultative body with no executive powers, its terms of reference limited as following:
Membership of the Rough Collie Breed Council shall be limited to Kennel Club registered Rough Collie Breed societies.
The Rough Collie Breed Council shall have no power to interfere or intervene in the affairs of its member societies.
The Rough Collie Breed Council may make recommendation to the Kennel Club about the Breed Standard.
The Rough Collie Breed Council may make recommendations to the Kennel Club regarding any applications to register new Breed Societies.
The Rough Collie Breed Council shall compile and publish lists of judges each year, which must be submitted to the Kennel Club as part of its Annual returns.
The Rough Collie Breed Council may elect a breed representative to the Kennel Club Liaison Council.
The Rough Collie Breed Council may consider any matter referred to it by the General Committee of the Kennel Club
